During my summer vacation to Orlando Florida, I done my yearly splurge at Sephora and Ulta (Singing the store name in my head haha). I wanted to buy some new products I hadn’t tried, not necessarily new ones. I pondered over a few including Too faced, Bobbi Brown and Sephora’s own line. I decided against these and went with Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer. I was intrigued by this after my husbands relative mentioned it before we went inside. I bought the shade Light Medium and it states it has full coverage.
So the Shape Tape comes with a spongy soft applicator which is slightly wider than what i am used to. However you should take into consideration that it is a contour concealer. Although I use it as a normal every day concealer too.
There are several shades to choose from but I would always recommend getting matched up to your correct colour. Saying that, if you know your colour you need then you could pop over to QVC and buy it online and redeem £5 off your first order too. So you get a little saving. Enter the code at checkout FIVE4U.
This products seems to cover any imperfections I have seamlessly, and under the eye area, where skin is a lot more delicate it doesn’t seem to crease either. I used a beauty blender from Sonia Kashuk for application. I love her cosmetic tools and blenders. Don’t worry you don’t have to use that type of blender, any will do. I must state this concealer is slightly on the thicker texture side so you don’t need a lot at all.
I suffer with rosacea and I can safely say it covers that too. Happy days all around.
Whats your favourite concealer? Have you tried this one and if so what are your thoughts?
Anyways I am off to bed now, plenty more posts and reviews coming over the next couple weeks. Don’t forget to subscribe to keep updated with any new posts and giveaways!
