FASHION AND BEAUTY EXTRAVAGANZA
Saturday 5th December 2015
It is 8.15am and I am on route to the bus stop to meet my best friends sister and go to Birmingham for the weekend for The Clothes Show Live…….So excited I could scream. This will be approx my 16th/17th time attending. So we get picked up courtesy of National Holidays Coach and make our way to Birmingham City centre to spend a bit time in the Christmas Markets and Pavillion shopping centre before heading to our hotel later in the evening. My other good friend and her mam and cousin were also on the coach which was great to see as I first ever went to the actual show with them many years ago.
(With a pit stop half way I enjoyed a Starbucks Honey and Almond hot chocolate, mmm delicious!!)
We arrive in Birmingham and spend a few hours just having a look round the shops etc and headed to the hotel in Wolverhampton (Approx 40 mins from the NEC in Birmingham.)
After our evening meal we thought we would pop out for a few local drinks …..well come on it is christmas!!
Later went back to the hotel and got ready for bed, you need a good nights sleep before you hit the actual Clothes Show mind.
Sunday 6th December 2015
GET IN!!! IT’S TIME!!!
The day has arrived and I can’t contain myself from the excitement, shopping, shopping, makeup, clothes, fashion, beauty, beauty bloggers, celebrities, dancing and music!! And that isnt even half of it. So I started to get my glad rags on and do my makeup and hair, grab some breakfast (making sure my belly is full for the day the prices to eat in The Clothes Show are rather steep that’ all).
We are off…………………..
Thousands of people entering the building, my legs speed up I may aswell be running – panicking that I am going to miss something haha
We go in and the music is jumping and it’s only 10am! We both check out the map and find out roughly where different stands are such as Ci Ci London, Lungta de Fancy, Fusey, In the style, Beautiful Brows, Astalift, and so many others. I bought a fantastic leather jacket and dress from Lungta de Fancy, a “Prosecco made me do it jumper” from In the style and a fab offer on a selection of products from Astalift skincare. That was just some of the things.
Our fashion time was 11.15am which last roughly 45 mins. What can I say but in all the years I have been here this has to be one of the best shows I have seen. The themes were fantastic, models stunning, dance routines great and presenters were just brilliant!!
The fashion show itself was presented by Rick Edwards in the Alcatel One Touch Fashion Theatre with the amazing Ella Eyre performing live and Urban Voice Collective were also performing.
I managed to meet Jake Quickenden from XFactor and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Outta Here, as well as that I spotted Joey Essex, Carol Wright from The Only Way is Essex and of course I walked past the toons very own Charlotte Crosby from Geordie Shore.
After the show we continued our shopping of course hunting like a small pack of wolves for the ultimate in bargains. We picked up free complimentary Bailey shots on the way round too as well as magazine and free goody bag offers (great for reading on the coach on the way home for my 4 hour journey)
At approx 3.45pm we had to head over to the coach to take us back feeling shopped out!! Had an amazing weekend with my friend who was such a laugh, thoroughly enjoy it each year I go.
Well I am going to wrap this up for now and I have a blog coming up on my review of my Astalift Products and also my Vanity Lashes!!
Have an amazing Christmas you guys!!!
